We participated in the Japan Cultural & Film Festival 2025 held in Brunei on November 15 to 16, as part of the “Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan (ASEAN Regional Office)”. At our booth, in collaboration with the Brunei Association of Japan Alumni (BAJA), we provided comprehensive information and individual consultations on studying in Japan to a total of 245 visitors. Interest ranged from undergraduate and graduate programs to high school study opportunities, reflecting the diverse educational aspirations of attendees. H.E. Mr KIKUTA Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam and Yang Mulia Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports also visited the venue and observed the booth. Launch of Study in Japan Information Corner at the Ministry of Education Language Centre (MOELC), Singapore

On October 24, we opened a Study in Japan Information Corner at the libraries of the Newton and Bishan campuses of the Ministry of Education Language Centre (MOELC) in Singapore, as part of the “Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan (ASEAN Regional Office).” The newly established corner offers a wide range of resources, including general information about studying in Japan and brochures from Japanese universities. Students are welcome to browse these materials freely. We hope these resources will inspire more students to deepen their interest in pursuing higher education in Japan. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Mr. Samuel Yeong, head of Japanese department at MOLEC, for his invaluable contribution to establishing this corner. We would also like to convey our heartfelt appreciation to principals and teachers of MOELC, the Japanese University Graduates Association of Singapore (JUGAS), and the Japan Creative Centre of the Embassy of Japan in Singapore for their generous support and collaboration in this initiative.
