Co-Organized the Study in Japan Fair 2026 in Malaysia

As part of the “Global Network Project to Promote Study in Japan (ASEAN Regional Office)”, Okayama University co-organized the Study in Japan Fair 2026 (Malaysia), hosted by the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), on January 24 and 25, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A total of 27 institutions participated in the fair, including 21 Japanese universities, vocational schools, Japanese language institutes, and related organizations. Over the two-day event, 1,015 high school and university students attended. At each institution’s booth, participants received university brochures and a wide range of information about studying in Japan, along with opportunities for individual consultations.
At our project booth, comprehensive guidance was provided, including introducing universities and programs aligned with students’ academic interests, advice on how to find prospective supervisors for master’s and doctoral programs, and detailed information on scholarship opportunities.
From Okayama University, Associate Professor BULIN AUBRA LEAH of the Discovery Program for Global Learners (GDP) participated. She introduced the curriculum of the English-taught undergraduate program, the Global Discovery Program (GDP), as well as programs offered by Japanese higher education institutions and university life in Japan.

Okayama University will continue to promote the appeal of studying in Japan and strengthen support for Malaysian students aspiring to pursue higher education in Japan.
