What did you do before studying in Japan?

Working as a researcher

Why did you choose to study in Japan?

I thought that my environmental in Thailand was surrounded by Japanese people. I experienced a staff in the event of study in japan and coordinator for visiting professor. When I was master student, I had the chance to receive an exchange student from Osaka for 1 month and from Chiba for 10-days. In my opinion, Japan is a high rank in the title of peaceful country, beautiful environmental and unique cultural. So, It was not hard to decide my study in Japan.

How did you prepare for studying in Japan? Please tell us about how you found the information on institutions, supervisor, scholarship, and others.

After I graduated master degree course, I worked almost 2 years with my supervisor as a project researcher to practice more about laboratory techniques and looking for some scholarship to continue my education. Luckily for me, Professor (in japan) who kind support send the information about the scholarship through my supervisor.

How is your student life in Japan? Please tell us about your study, research, part-time job, and others.

My life in Japan is totally different from Thailand because I have to stay alone without my family. An interesting point is I never feel home sick as I’ve ever imagined before or because we (me and my family) can keep in touch by using a technology. In the study and research field, My professor always support me in the knowledge of both Japanese language and research techniques. He also suggest and guidance me about life in japan. Laboratory members also nice and friendly even if (the beginning) we have faced the problem caused by the language barrier but it’s not an obstacle to communicate. To be honest, I think this will be the one part of my life that I’m out of my comfort zone that I never imagine.
