What did you do before studying in Japan?

University student

Why did you choose to study in Japan?

It was indeed a rational decision as Japan is one of the most developed countries providing students with scholarships and opportunities to support oneself while studying.

How did you prepare for studying in Japan?

I found my university with the help of OJEIC. I consulted the field of major I want to pursue in undergraduate level. I did all the processes I needed to apply by myself and I can say if you have the determination and patience to go for what you want, nothing is difficult.

What are you studying/researching in Japan?

I am doing Bachelors of Science in Digital Business and Innovation which is an E-track program in Tokyo International University.

What do you do in your personal time?

As for now, I am enjoying my life in Japan as any other international students in my free time and also working part-time jobs.

Please tell us about your challenges in Japan and how you overcame them.

I did not have any challenges in particular up until now. Generally, international students who come to Japan encounter language barrier, however, I prepared my Japanese language skills to a certain level before going to Japan. That really helps me a lot in my everyday life here in Japan.

Any encouraging message and/or advice to those who wish to study in Japan.

Don’t overthink if your decision to study in Japan might be right or not. From my standing, this is not only black or white. You just need to continue doing the actions that lead you to the path you aim for so that you don’t hesitate about your decision.
