Why did you choose to study in Japan?

I wanted to be a researcher and I like a research-based education system of Japan. This is the main reason for me to study in Japan.


ဂျပန်တက္ကသိုလ်တွေရဲ့သင်ကြားရေးစနစ်က
သုတေသနကိုအခြေခံတာကြောင့် ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှာပညာသင်ဖို့
အဓိကရွေးချယ်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ကျွန်မရဲ့
အိပ်မက်ကသုတေသနပညာရှင်တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်ဖို့ပါ။

How did you prepare for studying in Japan?

I was lucky to get a scholarship because my university (Myanmar) and Chiba university are sister universities. I was selected to apply Chiba University among my collages, and I passed the interview for the application.


မြန်မာနိုင်ငံက ကျွန်မရဲ့ မိခင်တက္ကသိုလ်နဲ့ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံ
ချီဘာတက္ကသိုလ်က နားလည်မှုစာချွန်လွှာထိုးထားတဲ့
ညီအစ်မတက္ကသိုလ်ပါ။ ကံကောင်းစွာဖြင့် ဂျပန်က
ချီဘာတက္ကသိုလ်မှာ မဟာသိပ္ပံတက်ဖို့အတွက်
မိခင်တက္ကသိုလ်က ကျွန်မကို ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
အင်တာဗျူး အောင်မြင်ပြီး ကျွန်မ
ဒီကိုလွယ်လွယ်ကူကူ ရောက်လာနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။

What are you studying/researching in Japan?

My major is Soil Science and my study focus on how the elevated CO2 change the quality of rice straw and its consequence effects on soil C pools.

ထိုအကျိုးဆက်ကြောင့် မြေဆီလွှာအပေါ်
ဘယ်လိုမကျိုးသက်ရောက်မှုတွေရှိလာမလဲဆိုတာကို
လေ့လာတာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

What do you do in your personal time?

Watching movies and cooking are my hobbies.


အားတဲ့အချိန်ဝါသနာပါတဲ့ ရုပ်ရှင်ကြည့်တာနှင့်
ဟင်းချက်ရတာမျိုးလုပ်ပါတယ်။

Please tell us about your challenges in Japan and how you overcame them.

Communication with friends is easy for me, but for moving out/in, visiting a clinic, I need help from friends or my supervisor because of my poor Japanese language.
