Why did you chose to study in Japan?

Japan is one of the most developed country to study molecular genetics area. All of the Japanese University are not only offered the updated courses but also improved the research skill of student. Therefore, Japanese University will build up and improve the scientific works of my future academic career.

ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံသည် molecular genetics area ကိုလေ့လာသင်ကြားနိုင်သည့် ကမ္ဘာ့အဖွံ့ဖြိုးဆုံးသော နိုင်ငံများထဲမှ တစ်နိုင်ငံဖြစ်သည်။ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရှိ စိုက်ပျိုးရေးနှင့်သက်ဆိုင်သော ပညာရပ်များကို သင်ကြားပို့ချပေးသော တက္ကသိုလ်များသည် ခတ်မှီသင်ကြားရေးဘာသာရပ်များကို သင်ကြားပို့ချရုံမျှမက ကျောင်းသား၊ကျောင်းသူများကို သုတေသနများ လုပ်ကိုင်ဆောင်ရွက်ရာတွင်လည်း ကျွမ်းကျင်မှုရှိအောင် သင်ကြားပြသ ပေးကြပါတယ်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရှိ တက္ကသိုလ်များတွင် အဆင့်မြင့်ပညာရပ်များ လေ့လာသင်ကြားခွင့်ရရှိရန်အတွက် ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံကို ဦးစားပေးအနေဖြင့် ရွေးချယ်ခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

How did you prepare for studying in Japan?

Sakura Science Exchange Program not only favors me to study for Ph. D degree but also gives opportunity of University recommendation by Chiba University for MEXT scholarship. Many of the preparations such as taking the English language exam, searching the appropriate research area, introducing the supervisor about the applicant and his research history etc. were taken before coming to Japan.

Sakura Science Exchange Program ကကျွန်တော်ကို ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရှိ Chiba University တွင် ပါရဂူဘွဲ့ လေ့လာသင်ယူခွင့် ရရှိရုံမျှမက၊ MEXT scholarship ရရှိဖို့အတွက် University recommendation ကိုအဓိကအားဖြင့် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံသို့ ပညာသင်ခွင့် ရရှိနိုင်ရန်အတွက် English language အရည်အချင်းစစ်စာမေးပွဲများ၊ မိမိနှင့် သင့်တော်မည့် သုတေသနပြု ဆောင်ရွက်နိုင်သည့် ဘာသာရပ်၊ ပါရဂူဘွဲ့ ကျမ်းကြီကြပ်မည့် Professor ဆရာ ကို မိမိရယူထားခဲ့သော မဟာသိပ္ပံဘွဲ့ နှင့် ဆောင်ရွက်ခဲ့သော သုတေသနများ အကျဉ်းကို မိတ်ဆက်ပေးခြင်း စသဖြင့် ပြင်ဆင်မှုပေါင်းများစွာ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့ရပါတယ်။

How is your student life in Japan?

Learning and speaking the Japanese language was exciting in the beginning of student life. My field of study is molecular phylogeny of AA genome species of Oryza complex. And every lab member is very kind and help the international students in inside and outside of the laboratory. All of our lab members are well organized and disciplined to challenge their particular research especially in global pandemic of Covid-19.

ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံသို့ ရောက်၍ ကျောင်တက်ခါစအချိန်တွင် ဂျပန်စာသင်ယူခြင်း နှင့် ဂျပန်စကားပြော လေ့ကျင့်ခြင်းတို့သည် ပျော်စရာကောင်းရုံမျှမက စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာ လည်းကောင်းလှပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်လေ့လာသင်ယူနေသော ဘာသာရပ်မှာ molecular phylogeny of AA genome species of Oryza complex ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ကျွန်တော်တို့ ဌာနရှိ ဂျပန်ကျောင်းသား/သူများက နိုင်ငံခြားသားကျောင်းသားများအပေါ်မှာ သုတေသနများတွင်သာမက အခြားလူမှုကိစ္စရပ်များမှာလည်း များစွာကူညီဖေးမ စောင့်ရှောက်ကြပါတယ်။ ယခုလို global pandemic of Covid-19 အချိန်မှာ ဂျပန်ကျောင်းသား/သူများက အချင်းချင်းကူညီရိုင်းပင်းကြရုံမျှမက၊ စည်းကမ်းတကျ နဲ့ ၄င်းတို့ သုတေသနများကို အောင်မြင်အောင် ဆောင်ရွက်နေကြတာကို တွေ့ရပါတယ်။

Any message and/or advice to those who wish to study in Japan?

Japan is full of interesting things for those who want to learn the culture, science and technology. If someone have a chance to study in Japan, he/she will be improved in both teamwork activities and problem-solving skill in their future career.

ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံကတော့ နိုင်ငံခြားကျောင်းသား/သူများ အတွက် ကဏ္ဌအစုံ ယဉ်ကျေးမှု၊ သိပ္ပံနှင့် နည်းပညာ စသဖြင့် လေ့လာသိရှိချင်စရာ ပေါင်းမြောက်မြားစွာနဲ့ ပြည့်နှက်နေပါတယ်။ အကယ်၍ နိုင်ငံခြားကျောင်သား/သူ တစ်ယောက်က ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှာ ပညာသင်ယူခွင့်ရခဲ့မည်ဆိုလျင်၊ ၄င်းတို့ အနာဂတ် ဘဝအတွက် အရေးပါလှသည့် အဖွဲ့လိုက်ပူပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်တတ်မှု နှင့် ပြသာနာရပ်များကို ဖြေရှင်းနိုင်စွမ်း စွမ်းရည်စသဖြင့် များစွာ ဖွံ့ဖြိုးတိုးတက်လာစေမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
