What did you do before studying in Japan?

I attended at the Mandalay University of Distance Education by attending the outside classes like English Class and Japanese Class.

Why did you choose to study in Japan?

I have so many reasons to choose Japan to study because Japan has many opportunities for a foreign student. If we try our best on study, we will get the scholarship which can support our school fees etc. Not only that but also we can make an effort the school fee or living fee by working part time job too. Japan is one of the nicest places to live and there are so many things to learn about. As for me, I have a cousin sister who has been living in japan. So it might be one of the reasons too.

How did you prepare for studying in Japan?

Before I came to Japan I had been attending a Japanese school for almost two years. After I passed the JLPT exam, I applied to a language school in Japan. I had to take the interview first from Myanmar. I was so excited about doing the interview but luckily I passed. I studied at a language school for two years in Japan before I joined University. I got a scholarship from MEXT because I had the N2 certificate. This scholarship helped me a lot to study more and I could prepare for the entrance exam for University. I studied the EJU Japanese too. I also practiced the interview with my language teacher. I did enter the university.

What are you studying/researching in Japan?

Now I am studying business administration at university. I have to study various subjects unlike my country. I can choose the subjects that I like to study. I can manage the Units for a one year curriculum. I am joining the golf club to make more friends.

What do you do in your personal time?

I usually work a part time job during my holiday. Sometimes I attend the Church on Sunday. I join the activity there. I hang out with my friend. For the long holiday I went on a trip.

Please tell us about your challenges in Japan and how you overcame them.

Actually I didn't face a lot of difficulties living in Japan because my cousin sister is really supportive of everything. She helps and supports me all the time. Working is a little difficult for me for the first time. Gradually it was fine.

Any encouraging message and/or advice to those who wish to study in Japan.

We only need to try our best, the opportunity and good things are waiting for us.
