Why did you chose to study in Japan?

I had been an exchange student in Josai International University with ASEAN Young Women Leadership
Program in 2017.At that time, I am really impressed by the development of the country, Japanese people and their culture. And Japan has high education system and support even foreign students who are willing to study in Japan. So I decided to study in Japan for my further education.

ကျွန်မ ၂၀၁၇ ခုနစ်မှာ ASEAN Young Women Leadership Program နဲ့အတူ Josai International University ကို Exchange student အနေနဲ့ တစ်နှစ်တာပညာတော်သင်သွားရောက်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
အဲ့အချိန်မှာ ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံရဲ့ လူနေမှုပုံစံ,တိုးတက်ပြောင်းလဲမှုတွေနဲ့ဂျပန်လူမျိုးတွေရဲ့အလုပ်ကြိုးစားမှုတွေကိုကြည့်ပီးအရမ်းအားကျခဲ့ရပါတယ်။ဒါ့အပြင် Japan နိုင်ငံကိုလာရောက်ပညာသင်ကြားလိုတဲ့ ကြိုးစားချင်စိတ်ရှိတဲ့ လုငယ်တွေကိုလည်း ထောက်ပံ့ပေးနေတဲ့အတွက်ကျွန်မရဲ့ နောက်ဆက်တက်မယ့် ဘွဲ့အတွက် Japan နိုင်ငံကိုသွားရောက်သင်ကြားမယ်လို့ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်ချခဲ့ပါတယ်။

How did you prepare for studying in Japan?

As soon as I graduated, I always find an opportunity to study in Japan and also applied for scholarships for Master degree. At that time, I happened to discuss with my current supervisor, Professor ThiT hi Lay from Josai University and found out that they are doing research on Materials Science and Electronics related fields which are my interested fields. So I decided to do research at there and applied as a research student.

Science မှ Professor တယောက်ဖြစ်တဲ့ ကျွန်မရဲ့ လက်ရှိ supervisor Prof.Thi Thi Lay နဲ့ဆွေးနွေးဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။Josai University မှာလည်း ကျွန်မစိတ်၀င်စားတဲ့ဘာသာရပ်တွေဖြစ်တဲ့ Materials Science နဲ့ Electronics နဲ့ပတ်သက်ပီး research တွေလုပ်ကိုင်နေတယ်လို့သိရတဲ့အတွက် ကျွန်မရဲ့ Master ဘွဲ့အတွက်စာတမ်းကောင်းကောင်းပြုစုဖို့ရည်ရွယ်ပီး Josai University ရဲ့ research student အနေနဲ့လျှောက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်

How is your student life in Japan?

I took Japanese language classes and studied Japanese while doing my research. Since I also have part time job, I have to make balance between my studies and work. Although Japanese friends are shy to talk at first, they always help whenever I have a trouble. Because of Corona, I couldn’t go out to spend holidays and so I stay at home by watching dramas. Whenever I feels depressed, I talk with my family and friends to overcome this.

ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံဟာ japanese language ကိုအဓိကထားပီးသုံးတံ့နိုင်ငံဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် သုတေသနလုပ်နေတဲ့ကာလအတွင်းမှာလည်းဂျပန်စာအတန်းတွေတက်ပီးဂျပန်စာကိုလေ့လာဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ဂျပန်စကားကိုလက်တွေ့အသုံးချဖြစ်ဖို့နဲ့ living expense အတွက်ရည်ရွယ်ပီးတော့ အချိန်ပိုင်းအလုပ်ကိုလည်းလုပ်ရတဲ့အတွက် စာကြည့်ချိန်နဲ့ အလုပ်ချိန် balance ဖြစ်ဖို့အတွက် အချိန်ကိုလည်း သေချာ manage လုပ်ရပါတယ်။ဂျပန်သူငယ်ချင်းတွေကတွေ့တွေ့ချင်းမှာတော့စကားပြောနည်းပေမယ့်အခက်အခဲရှိတိုင်းအမြဲကူညီပေးကြတဲ့အတွက်နေထိုင်ရတာအဆင်ပြေခဲ့ပါတယ်။အားလပ်ရက်တွေမှာတော့ ကိုရိုနာကြောင့်အပြင်သိပ်မထွက်ပဲ အိမ်မှာပဲ စာလေ့လာရင်းကုန်ဆုံးဖြစ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။တစ်ခါတလေဆိုရင်တော့အနားမှာရှိတဲ့ပန်းခြံလေးတွေမှာသွားပီးအနားယူလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။နိုင်ငံရပ်ခြားမှာပညာသင်ယူနေရတာဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် စိတ်ဓါတ်ကျခဲ့တဲ့အချိန်တွေလည်းရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။အဲ့အချိန်တွေမှာဆိုရင်တော့ မိသားစုနဲ့သူငယ်ချင်းတွေကိုဖုန်းခေါ်စကားပြောပီးဖြေဖျောက်ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Any message and/or advice to those who wish to study in Japan?

For those who wish to study in Japan, I would like to suggest some advices.

1. Learn Japanese language; because it is essential who want to study and stay in Japan.


2. Set clear goals and immerse in your studies. Japan is one of the places where you will get to learn good mindsets, skills needed to get a job and part time job activities.

Japanနိုင်ငံကိုလာရောက်ပညာသင်ယူလိုတဲ့ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူတွေကို အကြံညဏ်ပေးချင်တာကတော့

1.  ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံမှာပညာသင်ဖို့သာမကနေထိုင်သွားလာဖို့အတွက်ပါအဆင်ပြေစေဖို့ ဂျပန်စာကိုလည်းကြိုးစားသင်ယူလာစေချင်ပါတယ်။


2.  နောက်တချက်ကတော့ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ရည်မှန်းချက်ပန်းတိုင်ကိုသတ်မှတ်ပီး ကြိုးစားစေချင်ပါတယ်။ဂျပန်နိုင်ငံဟာကောင်းတဲ့အလေ့အကျင့်တွေ ကိုယ့်ရဲ့အလုပ်လုပ်ကိုင်နိုင်စွမ်းရည်တွေအလုပ်အတွေ့အကြုံတွေကိုသင်ယူနိုင်တဲ့နိုင်ငံဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အားလုံးလည်း ကိုယ်မျှော်မှန်းထားတဲ့အိမ်မက်ကိုအမြန်ဆုံးအကောင်အထည်ဖော်နိုင်ကြဖို့မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်
